The Cape Ann Storm LT, a design by Vaclav Stejskal, is a 16.5′ long by 21.5″ wide sea kayak. It is built for smaller paddlers with the ideal capacity between 140-180lbs.
Construction began July 2005 and I completed the build May 2006. Western Red Cedar was used for most of the deck and hull with accent redwood and pine pieces. The coaming is carbon fiber, constructed according to Vaclav Stejskal’s method (One Ocean Kayaks).
